Commission an Artwork

Own an original - one that you helped conceive.
You tell me the subject and I'll paint it in my signature style.

Here are my standard rates for acrylic on canvas. These are gallery-wrapped (g-w) and ready to hang. Additional framing and shipping costs are not included. Other sizes can be discussed.

STEPS:

SIZE
You select the size.
For other sizes, I can provide the cost.

Note: I do not cram small sized canvases with too much detail or figures.

THEME
You provide a theme or I suggest and provide you one and we'll agree on it.

SKETCH and INTERPRETATION
I do a preliminary uncolored pencil sketch for you to approve.
We agree on the details but I request that my overall artistic interpretation be honored.

PAYMENT
I request 50% down payment before I start the painting.
I send regular updates if requested.
I send a picture of the finished painting.
The balance is paid when painting is done then I deliver or ship.

I receive payment via PayPal, Western Union, bank deposit or International Bank Transfer. If we can meet, then cash is good.

FRAMING & WALL MOUNTING
The work is gallery wrapped (about 1.5 inches painted sides) and ready to hang. Should you want it framed differently, additional cost will be incurred but I don't charge anything on top of what the framer charges. I can suggest a framer if you would like to deal with them directly.

SHIPPING, INSURANCE and TAXES
Shipping, insurance, and tax are borne by clients. I ship by Air21 (domestic), IEMS or Fedex. Air21 ships locally in the Philippines and insures the art piece for up to PHP50,000 only. Fedex also insures the work.

TIME
We'll agree on a delivery date after the sketch is approved.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

With the art piece, you will receive a signed certificate of authenticity. Keep this document safe and pass it on to the next owner should you sell the painting in the future.
